Penthouse Contracted with Record Numbers

The Faena House, designed by the illustrious Alan Faena, listed the penthouse for a record $50 million in November 2013, and is now under contract.

A Faena executive and the broker representing the buyer state that a deal was reached for the sale of the duplex penthouse at Faena House. However, the buyer's name and price were not disclosed.

The Miami Beach unit was first listed in November 2013 with a record asking price.  Sources say the penthouse's sale will break the record for the price of market contracts once it closes. The current record is $27 million for the sale of a condo unit in the Setai Resort and Residences in January 2013.

The Faena penthouse boasts over 8,200 square feet of interior space, approximately 10,000 square feet of exterior space, plus five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a 70 foot rooftop pool with ocean views.

According to Faena Group executive vice president Alicia Goldstein, the condominium section of the Faena building in Miami Beach is now completely sold out.
